Sika's water-based hygiene coatings are designed for application to the internal walls and ceilings of environments requiring continuously sanitary conditions. The coating systems are specially developed to be self-proactive against the growth of mold, bacteria, yeast, fungi and other micro-organisms.
These durable, attractive coating systems are installed by brush, roller or airless spray methods and provide a truly seamless finish irrespective of the configuration of the substrate. As they are free from joints, seams and other fastening devices, which might harbor dirt and bacteria, Sika's hygiene coating systems provide a tough, crack-bridging, hard wearing surface, which is easy to clean and maintain.

Sikagard 203W Steridex® Steridex is a single component, waterborne, acrylic coating, which is self-protective against the growth of mold, bacteria and other micro-organisms. Sikagard 205W Sterisheen® Sterisheen is a single component, waterborne, modified acrylic coating which is self-protective against the growth of mold, bacteria and other micro-organisms. Sikagard 307W Sterisept® Sterisept is a single pack, low odor, waterborne, polyurethane-based product which is self-protective against the growth of mold, bacteria and other micro-organisms. Sika Bonding Primer A fast curing, water based primer consisting of two components; a prereacted epoxy resin dispersed in water (Part A), and a waterborne modified polyamine solution (Part B). Sika Bonding Primer is used as the primer coat on various surfaces prior to the application of the Sikagard Hygiene coatings. |
